An Elegant Collection of Fine Furnishings & Asian Decorative Arts
Blue Moon Estate Sales Charleston is pleased to present an exceptional collection of fine furnishings, Asian decorative arts, and distinctive decorative accessories.
This thoughtfully curated collection brings together the timeless elegance of traditional furniture with the artistry and intricate craftsmanship of Asian design.
Highlights include a handsome mahogany dining table with a richly figured burl veneer top and brass feet, accompanied by six Maitland-Smith Chippendale-style mahogany dining chairs. A Sheraton-style mahogany sideboard from the Kindle Varney Collection, an elegant maple highboy with a scroll top, and Milling Road side tables for Baker Furniture further complement the collection.
Among the most captivating pieces is an antique Japanese painted six-panel folding screen with a luminous gold-leaf background. Additional highlights include a striking black lacquer sideboard with mother-of-pearl inlay, coordinating nesting tables, and an intricately inlaid curio display cabinet.
An assortment of Asian-inspired lighting adds further distinction, including Chinese blue-and-white porcelain lamps featuring the happiness motif, blue-and-white trumpet vase lamps, and vintage carved celadon porcelain jars converted into table lamps.
From beautifully crafted traditional furnishings to decorative pieces rich in artistry and detail, this collection offers an opportunity to acquire distinctive items that bring character, history, and enduring beauty to the home.
We invite you to explore the collection and discover something extraordinary.
