How We Distribute Numbers:
Numbers for the order of entry will now be distributed by text messages. We hope to avoid making our shoppers wait hours before opening for a number.
• 24 hours before the sale, a shopper can start requesting a number via text (Do not call or email)
• Please text the number request to 914-269-8088
• Your number will be issued in the order the requests are received.
• We are usually setting up for the sale the day before. We will respond later in the day with your number.
• Typically numbers are only needed for entry during the first hour of day 1. Shoppers are free to come in anytime after.
• Please make sure you include your full name and your request for an entry number
• We will only issue one number per cell. Shoppers will not be allowed to request multiple numbers on one phone
• We will ask the shoppers to be present 10 mins before the start of the sale. Be ready to show our reply on your phone to validate your number
• If you are not present when we call your number, you will be skipped over
Guests and shoppers assume all responsibilities and risks while shopping on the designated site. Blue Moon Estate Sale and the homeowner are not responsible for accidents and injuries of any kind sustained during the sale unless it is the result of negligence.
Please note the following:
1. We accept cash, credit/debit card, Zelle, and Venmo. Personal checks are not accepted.
2. Please do not obstruct any driveway or park on the grass. Follow the proper parking regulations.
3. Buyers are responsible for the removal of large items. If you plan on buying a large or heavy item, please bring adequate help, as Blue Moon employees are not available to load challenging items.
4. The buyer must remove all purchased items from the property before closing on the last day of the sale unless an arrangement was discussed.
5. For purchases of large items, write your name and phone number on the Price Tag. Then, remove the bottom portion of the perforated tag. Please alert one of our team members so we can mark the item as “Sold.”
6. We do not allow the use of any sold stickers other than our own. If you wish to purchase an item, ask one of our associates for a sold sticker. Once the sold sticker is placed, you are obligated to purchase that item.
7. Please do not hoard items to weed through later.
8. Be sure to examine all items closely and carefully before paying for them. All items are sold “AS IS.” You are welcome to test the working condition of electronic items on site.
9. We do not make guarantees regarding the operational or cosmetic condition of items sold, and we do not offer refunds.
10. You may “MAKE AN OFFER” on items over $50. Ask the manager for an offer sheet. Your offer must be for at least 60% of the asking price or more (e.g., a $100 table offer would have to be $60 or more). We will call you the evening before the last day of the sale to inform you if you have the highest offer. You must pay for the item before we open on the final day of the sale and pick up or arrange a time to pick up your item(s) at that time.
11. We will contact the proper authorities if anyone is caught stealing.
12. Doors will open at the published time, not before. We will hand out numbers approximately an hour before opening to coordinate orderly entries.
13. If you pick up an item and decide not to buy it, please place it back where you found it.
14. Please be careful while shopping. If you break or damage an item, you are fully responsible for the cost of the item.
15. Please respect the property. Do not bring food or drinks into the home.
16. We do not hold “pre-sales” or provide pricing information before the start of a sale. (unless advertised otherwise)
17. Restrooms will not be available for public use at the sale.
18. Please do not block the neighbor’s driveways or mailboxes.
