Gene Henkel, owner of Blue Moon Estate Sales of Nassau County West, NY, has spent his career involved in a wide range of businesses. He enjoys the challenge of building something new, working toward shared goals and creating opportunities for the people he cares about.

Gene was drawn to the estate sales industry for the variety and possibility. He appreciates that every day brings something different, from unexpected discoveries to meaningful interactions. He values the chance to provide a much-needed service to families in times of transition.

Known as a natural leader, Gene is well connected in his community and has a strong understanding of both business and people. He brings a practical, grounded approach to every project and takes pride in delivering work that is thoughtful, reliable and service-driven.

Outside of work, he spends much of his time outdoors. An avid outdoorsman and builder, he enjoys nature, hands-on projects and exploring the world around him.
