Meet the Owner, Tara Leimeister

Tara Leimeister is the owner of Blue Moon Estate Sales of Columbus, where she brings a strong background in customer service, training, sales and data analysis to every client interaction. Her professional experience spans education, accounting and criminal justice, giving her a well-rounded perspective and a steady, thoughtful approach to problem-solving.

Tara was drawn to the estate sales industry by her desire to help people navigate life transitions with confidence and care. She finds fulfillment in the ever-changing, hands-on nature of the work and helping clients move forward, whether through downsizing, relocation or other transitions.

Outgoing, humble and grateful, Tara believes there is joy in everyday moments and that helping others is central to meaningful work. She is known for her strong communication skills, adaptability and collaborative leadership style, all of which help her build trust with clients and team members alike.

Outside of work, Tara enjoys walking her dog, reading, coaching, and cheering on her daughter at basketball games. She looks forward to meeting new clients and supporting them every step of the way.
