Meet Owners Socorro and Troy Gill

Blue Moon Estate Sales of SW Denver is owned and operated by Troy and Socorro Gill. The pair have been married for 25 years and live in the Littleton, Colorado area. They deeply understand the stress that can come along with downsizing belongings, and they place high value in taking the load off clients through compassion, respect, and attention to detail. As estate sale professionals, they also understand that there is a lot of value in reusing and repurposing items, rather than discarding them.

Troy worked for more than 23 years in the engineering consulting realm, specifically in environmental remediation and wastewater. He managed large projects and staff and has always been a learner. He likes being outdoors, fishing, hunting and especially gardening. The care of the outdoors and experience with many different clients prepared him well for starting off on the estate sale path.

Socorro has spent many of her last 20 years raising their three daughters, including homeschooling all of them. She also started a non-profit to help new moms deal with the hormonal and emotional changes that accompany childbirth and parenthood. Socorro is a big fan of thrift stores and understands the value of secondhand items. She has also been a private school teacher at various times. All of this experience gives her the ability to really empathize with estate sale clients and help them feel supported and cared for.
