Meet the Owner
Blue Moon was founded in Raleigh in 2009. To better serve a larger clientele, Blue Moon Estate Sales of Goldsboro was formed. Owner Olivia Pierce and her son, Andrew, use their vast knowledge of antiques and collectibles to help people downsize their lives with minimal stress.
On top of providing great service and accurate item assessments, conducting estate sales means building both a client and customer base. To that end, she employs a staff of energetic, knowledgeable, honest people who love what they do. Blue Moon’s innovative technology doesn’t hurt, either!
Prior to her estate sale career, Olivia worked a school district administrator in Wayne County for 25 years. In this role, she oversaw public relations, communications and technology. With these responsibilities, she gained a deep appreciation for the community, including Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, as well as extensive experience in planning and coordinating events, both large and small. She knows firsthand how critical it is to be well organized and detail oriented.
Retired from the school system, she now uses her experience and passion for resale to help clients across Wayne, Duplin, Lenoir and Greene County. She knows and understands the stress and emotions that can come along with downsizing belongings and is happy to take the load off with sensitivity, respect and attention to detail.
