In our first phone contact with you, we will set an appointment to meet with you at the property and review the items to be sold. During that meeting we will review our contract with and, if you decide to hire us, we’ll identify a good date(s) for the sale. Then we’ll get right to work organizing and pricing items for the estate sale. We do all the leg work from organizing, to pricing, staging and conducting the sale
Prior to you estate sale, we will also reach out to the neighbors to inform them of the sale, increased traffic and how we use flags to protect nearby yards.

Here’s what buyers should expect at a Blue Moon Estate Sale
We hear from buyers who attend our estate sales that they appreciate how well organized we are. When guests arrive (up to an hour before the sale) they are given a number. Then they listen closely to the pre-sale announcements for any special instructions. When the sale starts, guests are allowed to enter, in order, in small groups (the number depends on the size of the property). Once inside, everything that is for sale is clearly marked with a price.
Shopping baskets are available for smaller items. As a convenience, we provide a wrapping table to prepare items for travel. We will always have lots of wrapping paper available but at times we may go through our boxes quickly so please bring a few boxes with you just in case. Large items have a tear off tag. Buyers take the bottom part to check out to pay while placing a sold sticker on the top portion with their name and number clearly visible.
Items not for sale are clearly marked and/or moved to a different area of the property.
